Regina Lorenz purchased the restaurant in 1998 and then retired from her position with the State of Missouri. She has no formal training just a passion to fix good food for people to enjoy. Everything served is prepared in her kitchen.

The French Country bread is made fresh daily along with the homemade dressings for the fresh salads, All sides for the entree’s are selected from the available fresh vegetables. The desserts are made weekly and change with the seasons except for the carrot cake which is always available.

She is assisted by Tracy (her daughter) on some of the dishes and preparations. Some of the entree’s , desserts and side dishes are from our “family cook book” and others are just “made up” and “winging it”.
